At Anglian Water we play our part in protecting and enhancing wildlife across the East of England. It’s also a legal requirement to care for certain species and habitats. To meet our responsibilities, we have a biodiversity strategy, which outlines the work we do on our sites and across the region.
We protect wildlife in a number of ways:· We own 49 sites that are protected by law because they’re teeming with wildlife. Their total area equates to 2,842 hectares.
· Our sites are surveyed so we know what wildlife we need to protect· To help wildlife across the region, we work in partnership with organisations like the Wildlife Trust, Keep Britain Tidy and the British Trust for Ornithology
· We fund projects on individual species including the osprey, nightingale and pool frog.
Our Mission is to identify an provide practical, theoretical , institutional and legal alternatives for long term solutions in the protection and enhancement of our bird community and their critical habitats, biodiversity, nature and environment in Albania and to work closely with all the stakeholders for the sustainable use of natural resources

Rising Phoenix Co. Ltd. as a social enterprise aims to restore and conserve Western Siem Pang Forest using business principles in partnership with all who share our vision.
Western Siem Pang Wildlife Sanctuary is a unique and globally irreplaceable site. It supports populations of five bird species listed by IUCN as Critically Endangered, including Cambodia’s national bird the giant ibis. This means without immediate conservation interventions, these species face a high chance of global extinction. There are very few sites globally that support this number of Critically Endangered species. The area forms part of the one of the largest blocks of protected forest across Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. It also supports numerous other endangered bird and mammal species, including Eld’s deer and Banteng.

Elijah Sands and Christopher Johnson are two young birders and wildlife photographers from Nassau, Bahamas. They are a part of The Bird Club of New Providence and have been documenting, recording, and photographing birds in The Bahamas for the past few years. With a special focus on rare species, endemic birds and migratory birds, they have been leading projects to raise awareness about birds and drive action to conserve them.
In 2020 alone they have recorded over 10 new species records for The Bahamas. Through their work in photography and filmmaking, they are making a difference in bird conservation and changing the way people perceive birds in these set of islands best known for its sun, sand & sea.

NENBC is a recently created club (2015), covering eight 10 km squares in the North-East corner of Norfolk. The club area includes many premium birding locations, as well as thousands of acres of under-watched or undiscovered habitats.
Our aim is to bring together people with a love and concern for birds in our area, to share knowledge and information, encourage participation in exploring our rich wildlife heritage and promote awareness of our threatened natural environment. We strive to be a sociable, inclusive and informative club which plays a vital role in the local birding community. To this end we produce an annual bird report for the area, run a variety of recording projects and contribute to nationwide surveys such as those organised by the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO).

Our team "Saw 3 Dodos" is a mix of friends, family and colleagues, based all over the globe, of two keen birders and former colleagues, Shaun and Stephanie. We thought it would be fun to see how many different species we could record on the October Big Day, helping to celebrate biodiversity and encourage people to get out and explore. The name is a bit of fun but also has a more serious undertone - so many birds could easily go the way of the dodo if we don't sit up and take action. So we are also trying to raise a bit of money to support Birdlife's Stop Illegal Bird Trade.
A team made up of bird and wildlife artists from New Zealand, India, Hungary, Germany, France, England, Scotland and Ireland. Our goal is to sketch and paint some of the birds we see over the weekend to celebrate watching birds, wild and free, in their natural environment.

Team Ant Bite is made up of two 15 year olds and two adults based in Singapore, and will be birding around Holland Plain and the “green corridor” which is an old railway line in the center of Singapore, this is one of our favourite birdwatching locations due to the birds that live here and the easy accessibility from our home to Holland Plain. Holland Plain is a field of grassland with a large canal nearby, The Green corridor is a long path running through a woodland area. Both areas are biodiverse, with bird species ranging from small ground birds such as the white Headed Munia to the occasional Grey-Headed Fish Eagle. We have been bird watching and photographing in this area for several years, and also covering other local birding locations, usually on foot. We have named the team “Ant Bite” because we often seem to get more ant bites than birds!

Hi, we’re the Passey family. Me (bottom right) and my dad (top right) we’re the ones who first started birding after watching The Big Year. This is my family up hiking in Big Bear, California, now probably a good time to be saying that we’re based in Orange County, CA. I’ve always loved the environment, nature, and the outdoors.I’ve been birding for the past 4ish months now, most of the time by myself in my local parks and neighborhoods. When I do go birding with my dad we go to Bolsa Chica, and San Joaquin Marsh. The places we’ve traveled to are Southern Arizona, where we went to Cave Creek, Chiricahua Mountains and Madera Canyon, AZ these are the main places that we’ve gone birding and I hope to visit them again. My names Luke, my life list is a bit over 70 and happy birding, see you on the trail.
